In my opinion, community service (specifically the type(s) of community service) is a demonstration of a person's dedication to the issues close to that individual's heart. I believe that my service to Montgomery County, outside of my private law practice, illustrates my personality and, most importantly, my love for children.
As stated elsewhere on this website, my family and I attend, and are
members of, The Woodlands United Methodist Church. My wife and I both contribute much of our time to various children's ministries and activities through our church, including coaching church-league children's teams (Upward Flagfootball, Upward Basketball, Upward Volleyball, Upward Baseball and Upward Cheerleading), leading children's devotions and volunteering as camp counselors. I am also a regular volunteer for the South Montgomery County Y.M.C.A. for their children's sports teams.
Additionally, my family and I have often donated our time and/or gifts to various service organizations including The Salvation Army, The Montgomery County Food Bank, The Montgomery County Fair Association, Swing for a Cure and Compassion International. I am proud to have served my home county in these areas.
